Freight transport does not provide transport quotes. The website is a communication board for shippers and transporters to communicate direct without a middleman.

Freight transport provides a free service to shippers seeking quotes from transporters to ship items nationwide.

Freight transport is an online transport communication platform and is not a third party or agent for carriers.  

Freight transport has no involvement with any transport transaction and does not charge commission or fees to shippers. 

Once you submit your quote request form you will receive a quotation approved pending email.

Once the admin team approves your request, you will then receive a quote approved email.

Both emails will allow you to delete or edit your request.

Your job will then go live on the Freight Transports platform.

Your request will be automatically sent to the carriers via SMS and email.

Carriers who can provide the service will either contact you directly via phone, SMS or email with their quote.  

Quotes your receive via email through Freight Transports platform will allow you to accept, reject, or contact the carrier direct. 


No, Freight Transport provides a free service with no obligations to shippers requesting quotes. 

From the time your listing goes live on Freight Transports platform, all registered transporters will receive a notification.

You should start to receive quotes throughout the day from transporters from the time your quote request goes live. Depending on the their location and availability. 


Yes, you will have the option to select between 3, 5 and 7 days when listing your job.

You can transport cars, boats, machinery, palletized items, heavy haulage, trucks, furniture, farm machinery, construction material and refridgerated goods and more. For more items, please view our cargo categories.  

Your listing can only be viewed by our registered transporters and oversize load pilots who have registered with Freight transport. 

Below are questions you should ask transporters:

  • Their company/business name, ABN or ACN and address
  • Transporters details e.g. name and phone number
  • Receive the quote in writing either by email or text
  • Ask if your items will be insured by the transporter. If so, ask for a copy of their insurance documents

You can login to your Freight transport account and delete the listing from your dashboard

or you can delete directly from the quote confirmation email which was sent from Freight Transport. 

This depends on the transporter, they may ask for the full amount or a deposit. 

Usually, most of the transporters will ask for a deposit with the balance payable at delivery. 

Freight Transport does not get involved with any transactions or negotiations between shippers and transporters. 

Shippers and transporters should discuss and negotiate the upfront payment required which they are comfortable with.
